1. Return Eligibility
We accept returns under the following conditions:
- Items must be returned within 30 days of delivery
- Products must be in original, unused condition
- All original packaging, accessories, and documentation must be included
- Items must not show signs of wear, damage, or modification
- Custom or specially ordered items are not eligible for return
- Software downloads are non-returnable once accessed
2. Return Process
2.1 Initiating a Return
- Contact our customer service team at Contact@indotechmeter.com
- Provide your order number and reason for return
- We will provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number
- Package the item securely with the RMA number clearly marked
- Ship the item to our returns address (provided with RMA)
2.2 Return Shipping
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs
- We recommend using a trackable shipping method
- Risk of loss during return shipping lies with the customer
- Defective items: we will provide prepaid return labels
3. Refund Processing
3.1 Inspection and Approval
- All returned items are inspected upon receipt
- Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days after approval
- Items that don't meet return criteria will be returned to customer
- Customer will be notified by email of inspection results
3.2 Refund Methods
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method
- Credit card refunds may take 3-5 business days to appear
- Bank transfer refunds may take 5-10 business days
- Cash payments are refunded by bank transfer or check
4. Exchanges
- Exchanges are available for defective or damaged items
- Replacement items must be of equal or lesser value
- Price differences for upgrades must be paid separately
- Exchanges are subject to product availability
- Same return eligibility rules apply to exchanges
5. Warranty vs. Returns
5.1 Defective Products
- Manufacturing defects are covered under warranty
- Warranty repairs may be offered instead of refunds
- Warranty coverage varies by product type
- Warranty claims require proof of purchase
5.2 Damaged in Transit
- Report shipping damage within 48 hours of delivery
- Provide photos of damaged packaging and product
- We will arrange replacement or refund at no cost
- Keep all packaging materials until resolution
6. Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
- Custom-manufactured or specially ordered products
- Software licenses and digital downloads
- Items damaged by misuse, abuse, or normal wear
- Products modified or altered by customer
- Items without original packaging or accessories
- Consumable parts and supplies
7. Refund Deductions
The following may be deducted from refunds:
- Restocking fee (typically 15% for non-defective returns)
- Original shipping costs (unless item was defective)
- Payment processing fees
- Depreciation for opened or used items
8. International Returns
- International customers are responsible for all return shipping costs
- Customs duties and taxes are non-refundable
- Returns must comply with applicable import/export regulations
- Extended return periods may apply due to shipping times
